Women’s Health Advocacy at Queen’s University

QWHA is an organization that is dedicated to bridging knowledge gaps in the field of women’s health. By translating evidence-based health sciences research into educational resources, we hope to deliver useful information to women of all backgrounds. QWHA encourages its audience to learn about physiology across the lifespan, providing women with the confidence to advocate for their own health.

Developed by students at Queen’s University, QWHA prioritizes a strong sense of community. We highlight local academia while supporting organizations that improve women’s health and wellbeing.

Our Executive Team is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that encourages health communication and discussion. We are determined to establish a long-lasting knowledge platform that dismantles stigma and makes essential health information accessible to all.
